Tecovas

During my time at Tecovas, I had the opportunity to help build the Women’s category from the ground up, which was such a defining and creatively fulfilling experience. It really felt like we were shaping the identity of the Tecovas woman—finding that balance between honoring western heritage while introducing something more expressive, feminine, and quietly directional.

A lot of my work was rooted in exploration. I spent time refining more feminine interpretations of classic western silhouettes—evolving toe shapes, proportions, and subtle design details to understand what resonated and where we could push the product forward. I also worked on special, limited-edition material stories, including exotic leathers, which brought a sense of depth and elevated storytelling to the assortment. Those early explorations played a big role in establishing some of the core styles and design language that continue to define the women’s collection today.

Alongside design, I was deeply involved in development across both Women’s and Men’s, which gave me a strong, hands-on understanding of craftsmanship and construction within the western space. That experience really shaped how I approach design—making sure there’s a thoughtful balance between concept, materiality, and how the product ultimately comes to life.
